Chicken Chili with Hominy

2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts -- cut 1 to 1 1/2" pieces
1 medium onion -- chopped
3 cloves garlic -- thinly sliced
1 can white hominy - (15 oz) -- drained
1 can diced tomatoes - (14 oz) -- undrained
1 can tomatillos - (28 oz) -- drained, chopped
1 can mild green chiles - (4 oz)

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker; stir to blend all ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours, or HIGH for 4 to 4 1/2 hours.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
